Irish mixed martial artist (MMA) Conor McGregor was detained by the Corsica police on suspicion of sexual harassment. The Daily Mail reports.
McGregor, 32, is vacationing on an island in the Mediterranean with his fiancée Dee Devlin. The police arrested the athlete on suspicion of harassment and indecent behavior, but after interrogation, he was released. McGregor’s representatives deny all charges.
McGregor announced his retirement as a fighter in June. Despite this, the athlete continues to be tested for the use of illegal drugs.
McGregor has found himself in the center of scandals more than once. In March 2019, he was also detained on suspicion of harassment, but the case did not develop. In October of the same year, McGregor was accused of rape.
McGregor is best known for his performances in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). He became the champion of the organization in two weight categories.
